Overcome Business Obstacles

Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way to Overcome Obstacles

EntrepreneurialProblems-PatrickSnowIn my last article I talked about “How To Succeed By Developing a “No Matter What” Mentality“. Today I will be following up by talking about having the will to overcome obstacles that may be keeping you from becoming successful in business.

You are going to face some big problems in pursuit of becoming a successful business owner and eventually an Affluent Entrepreneur. But I’m going to provide you some firsthand answers to these problems since I have encountered many of the same obstacles along the way. My solutions focus upon how, as an Affluent Entrepreneur, you must think and act if you are to achieve prosperity.

Finding the way…

Problem: I need a bank loan to be able to run or expand my business.

Solution: Make more sales, and use the revenue to support the growth of the business.

Problem: I am not getting along with my business partner.

Solution: Get rid of the business partner, and keep 100% control of the business.

Problem: The economy is causing poor sales.

Solution: Develop new markets to sell to, and prospect extra hard to drive more business.

Problem: My credit score is dinged, and I can’t finance growth.

Solution: Either pay cash for all business expansion, or use other people’s money. (OPM)

Problem: There is not enough time in the day to get everything done that I need to do.

Solution: Delegate work to virtual assistants to free you up for your most important duties.

Problem: My spouse is not supporting me emotionally in this venture.

Solution: Prove your spouse is wrong by collecting a big check and buying him or her something special.

WorkingAtHome-PatrickSnowProblem: I can’t afford the needed office space to grow my business.

Solution: Work from home virtually, and have all others in your business do the same.

Problem: My car is broken down, and I can’t afford another one.

Solution: Walk, bike, or use public transportation.

Problem: I am not good at marketing, selling and prospecting.

Solution: Get good at it, or hire someone on commission-only to perform these duties.

Problem: The economy is bad right now, and no one is buying.

Solution: Refuse to participate in a recession.

The bottom line…

RoadBlocksToSuccess-PatrickSnowWhatever obstacle, roadblock, or adversity you are facing, there is always a “No Matter What” solution. Every entrepreneur before you has encountered the same challenges you have. Those who refused to quit or give up always succeeded. Let’s face it; the only way an entrepreneur can fail is to stop, quit, and give up. Les Brown has always said:

If you can look up, you can get up!”

I believe the temporary setbacks are part of the education. In fact, I believe a major financial setback is a setup for a comeback. And everyone loves to watch the underdog come back and win the game. With each setback you experience in life, you become a stronger, more experienced navigator. Never give in, never give up, never lose hope, and you will make it!

As a good exercise: Make a list of all your roadblocks, obstacles and challenges you face as an entrepreneur. Then, using your “No Matter What” mentality, write a solution for every problem listed. You might be surprised at how creative you can get.
